<http://www.raderprograms.com/googleindex.aspx?gclid=CM6y9I7_94kCFRYiUAodbW4WSQ>

this site provides me with a lot of information about eating disorders, tretment, the problem, and the solution. This program breaks down a persons disorder and diagnoses its severity and treats it as necessary. the Rader program is a rehabilitation center located in California where people can come and recover, and heal from their disorder. sites like this, and rehabilitation programs are saving lives of those dangerously underweight, and who need help. this is a different kind of information than what ive been getting and shows that after you are diagnosed and know the symptoms, and how dangerous or serious the disorder is, it is a disorder, and you do need help. the rehab center helps you recover, informs you, and gets your through. this
New Life Centers: Eating Disorders Treatment for Anorexia and Bulemia. New Life Centers Inc. 2005. 1/23/07

this site is a source of treatment for people with anorexia and bulemia. this site shows me the different "approaches" used when assisting peoples recovery. i think this site is helpful to me for my research, however is even more helpful to those who have eating disorders. the people with eating disorders can learn from this site that there are a lot of people who want to help them out, and make them stronger, and healthier. this site shows what steps are taken when trying to get a person back to normal, etc.

Eating Disorders. Barbara P. Homeier, MD. June 2005. 1/11/07.
<http://kidshealth.org/parent/emotions/feelings/eating_disorders.html>

this site is more general information because it is for a different audience, more along the lines of younger kids. The site includes more elaborate information about effects, warning signs, and when to suspect when a person has an eating disorder etc.
Eating Disorders: Anorexia and Bulemia. Barbara P. Homeier, MD. November 2004. 1/11/07.

Basically in this site I found a scenario with a person, explaining how her life changed after she became anorexic. I found a majority of the same facts I find everywhere explaining that losing weight and maintaining a low body weight becomes an obsession. This site included that people with anorexia never see themselves as thin even when they have a dangerously low body weight. This site backed up all the information on side effects and causes in more than just fact form. This teen health page is conveniently organized and one of my better sources. The more sites I get the more I learn about my topic, even though most sites contain a lot of the same information.

ANRED, AnorexiaNervosa and Related Eating Disorders, Inc., 2005, 3 Jan. 2007
<http://www.anred.com/toc.html>

this site explains who can and what kind of people get eating disorders. who is at risk for developing an eating disorder. etc.

i think this site is helpful and informational. this site brought to my attention information which i was not familiar with. this site did more than just provide me the basics the who what were why and when, but that and more. this site changed my views and opened my eyes to some new information. i now know that eating disorders are related to more than just self confidence or self esteem.
